Vampires in New Orleans, You Had to See That Coming

Fans of both of the CW’s runaway hits, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, will definitely enjoy the site Watch the Originals Online. Beyond guiding you through how to watch the originals online, it also provides an episode guide and star pages for the main characters. And you just have to say it, these are some fine looking vampires.

Original vampire and werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson is played by irresistable bad boy Joseph Morgan. He struts through every scene, gleefully betraying, killing, and generally dashing the hopes of everyone around him. Original  Vampire Elijah Mikaelson is played Daniel Gillies, who looks like Abercrombie & Fitch gave birth to a banker. And the youngest (living, kind of) Original vampire Rebekah Mikaelson is played by drop-dead gorgeous Claire Holt. It seems genuinely unfair that all these people are so good looking and can still act. Really well.

The show features great storylines, too. The vampires run the town, but Klaus is trying to supplant the head vampire. The witches have been forced to stop using magic and so are carrying out a covert war on the vampires. And the werewolves have been driven out of town completely. But since Klaus got a werewolf pregnant, and the witches are trying to use his baby to gain leverage over him, no one knows what the hell is going on there.

Dracula Goes High Budget

It seems a new Dracula movie is in the works, this time with a budget that probably exceeds all its predecessors combined. And to no surprise, it’s never too soon to build a web site about it! That’s the motto of Dracula Untold, the name of the website and the movie. And man is the guy who wrote this one off his meds!

To misquote Xander Harris (you either know who he is or its pointless to explain it to you), “This guys isn’t just thinking about Dracula, he’s giving Dracula a long sloppy word kiss.” We get the trailer from the new movie and pictures as well, but we also get the full history of Dracula from real life tyrant, to book character, to silent film heart stopper, all the way to modern day hottie Luke Evans.

And when we say all the way, we mean all the way. Every major Dracula movie, even the unwatchable atrocities from Hammer Studios are treated with love and respect. After reading about them from this guy, I’m almost tempted to watch them. So check out his site and who knows, you may get bitten by the Dracula bug yourself. (Pun intended.)
